All About Me!

This is me as a puppy, when I first came here.  I came from Karamad Siberians and that's why my real name is Karamad's One Dusty Guy.  I go by Dusty Doodles.  My mother is a Champion.  Her name is Journey and you can find her by clicking on her name. Da Momma thinks I look just like her.  I do kind of resemble her, don't you think?

I came here when I was 11 weeks old.  Just the right age for a pup to leave their mommas and brothers and sisters.  See, before that age, our dog mommas are busy teaching us things, like how to play and when to bite.  Our brother and sisters help us learn things too, like when we are playing too rough, or when it's time to settle and be good.

It's important for puppies to stay with their dog mommas and their brothers and sisters for a while after they are born.  I'm glad I came here when I did, as I already knew lots of things that Da Momma and the other dogs here didn't have to teach me.

Da Momma waited a long time for me and found just the right breeder to get everything she wanted in a Siberian.  She always tells me Doodles is perfect and that she loves me lots.  I guess that's because she had to wait so long to find me.

Sometimes Dusty Doodles gets to go on vacation!  I like vacation.  I make a point of only eating vacation foods when I'm on vacation.  Vacation foods are things like chickies, cheeseyburgers, potato chips and stuff like that.  Da Momma always tries to get me to eat my regular foods when I am on vacation, but I won't!  Here's a picture of me at the beach.  I was chasing the ducks in the lake!

If you notice, even though I was chasing the ducks, I was still on a leash.  Us Siberians can never, ever, be trusted off leash because we like to run and run and run.  My Da Momma knows that, so to keep me safe, she always makes sure I have my leash on when we go on vacations or on hikes.  Sometimes she will let me wear my really long leash, like in this picture, it's like a gazzillon miles long, well not really, but it is really, really long and it's great for letting me do some exploring, or duck chasing.  By the way, I didn't get the ducks, but I did hold out for fried chickie for dinner that night!

I do chase the feral cats here at home, and I have caught a couple too.  They are too fragile to play with and die soon after I catch them.  I don't understand why.  I've also caught a snake, and mice, and even a few birds!  I am an avid hunter and catch most things I go after.  I don't hunt to eat these critters, just to play with them, but sadly they are all so fragile and don't seem to stand up too well to rough Siberian play.
